We offer Specialist Community Dermatology services for patients of Leeds and surrounding areas with skin conditions that require an onward referral by their GP for advice and treatment.
Our Consultant-led Dermatology Service has been running successfully for a number of years and our clinicians have vast experience in effectively treating dermatological disorders.
Our General Practitioners with a Special Interest (GPSIs) in Dermatology are Dr Goyal and Dr Jamieson.
Our main site in The Light surgery but as part of the Community Dermatology Collaboration we can have many sites across Leeds.

If you need to contact the Community Clinic Secretaries regarding an EXISTING appointment or a query please call the Patient Telephone Line on (0113) 2211143 between 10am to 3 pm, Monday – Thursday or we can accept emails on wyicb-leeds.dermatologythelight@nhs.net
Please note: you must be referred by your GP to access Leeds Community Dermatology Service.
Car parking
The Light Surgery is situated above a multi-storey car park. Please note that charges apply and The Light complex is situated within a one-way road system.
Can’t make your appointment?
Please inform us is you are unable to attend your appointment so that the space can be made available to other patients.
Chaperones
Should you wish, patients are able to take someone into their appointment with them. However, should you wish someone to accompany you but do not have anyone with you, please ask at Reception if one of our team can act as a chaperone. Please note that we may also ask that a chaperone accompanies you in your meeting.
Location
The Light Surgery is located within Leeds City Centre on the Balcony Level of The Light Centre, just off the Headrow. There is a car park (payment required) at The Light shopping centre and there are several nearby bus stops. To get to us on the bus please get off at one of the Headroom stops. You can plan your bus journey here with First Bus.
